Lazio get cash back after away win to Torino (0-2)

SS Lazio recorded a valuable win on their trip to the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino, so the Biancocelesti team is back in the battle for a European spot. So this midweek Serie A fixture (postponed from Matchday 21 after the Supercoppa showdown) finally provides an important boost in the table.

It was not an easy task. The first half displayed a strong Torino on attacking duty, trying to get the most from several approaches. But in the second act, two assists from the Spanish Luis Alberto eased the definitive takeoff of the visitors, so 5 minutes after the restart Guendouzi scored the opener.

Only four minutes elapsed from the first goal to see the second: a top-skill pass by Luis Alberto assisted Cataldi to score the second goal with a far-range screamer. Pedro supported the team's victory on the final stretch, as Lazio was one man down after twice booked Gila was sent off (78').
