Basic scored the only goal of the match. He unleashed a left-footed shot from the edge of the box in the 9th minute, and his effort, aided by a slight deflection off Gatti, beat Perin and decided a hard-fought contest in which Lazio were always more intense, more determined, and more aggressive. They deserved the victory against a Juventus side that continues to struggle.
