Pedro screamer secure last-32 spot at Moscow (0-3)

Job done. SS Lazio defeated Lokomotiv away with a three-goal win -a screamer by Pedro included on the scoresheet- and secures a spot on the Europa League next round. Two goals from the kick spot by Immobile put the visitors on the driving seat and Pedro’s strike made it 0-3 for the Italians.

Pedro was benched for this fifth group stage fixture, but he was soon called to action by Maurizio Sarri as the deadlock was not broken at half time. He came out onto the pitch after the break adding some pace up front to the Laziali. Immobile scored two threaded goals from kick-spot (56’ and 63’) before the superb strike by Pedro, with a left-footed drive by the Spaniard straight to the far post. It was his first goal for Lazio in European competition.
