Last-gap heartache for SS Lazio in midweek Serie A fixure. The Udinese trip to the Olimpico was a roller-coaster game with eight goals and two players sent-off. Lazio displayed a strong performance to complete the comeback, but the visitors levelled the game when a 10-minute injury time was almost off.
Beto put visitors on the driving seat with a brace, but Immobile brought back the Biancocelesti on the game scoring the 1-2. On the edge of the break, Molina made it 1-3 for Udinese, but Lazio were back strong to the battle with a strike by Pedro -it's two in seven days for the Spaniard-. After the sending-off for two players, one for each side, Milinkovic-Savic scored the equaliser with a screamer and Acerbi made it 4-3. Madness at the Olimpico after a strong performance of Sarri's lads, but the injury time brought bad news for Lazio as Udinese scored the 4-4 (98') after a set-piece combination.
Pedro Rodriguez showed again his role as a key player in Maurizio Sarri's squad. The Tenerife-born player displayed a hard-effort game scoring his sixth goal of the season -fifth in Serie A-. Numbers are amazing for Pedro, as he has grabbed in December similar goalscoring records of the full 20-21 season.
