Salernitana left SS Lazio empty-handed after a hard-fought game at the Olimpico, breaking their two-month unbeaten run in Serie A with six threaded clean sheets.
The local side started in good mood, with a chance by Pedro denied by the woodwork. Lazio was trying hard to break the deadlock and finally got reward as Luis Alberto connected with Matia Zacaggni in the build-up of the opener five minutes before the break.
But visitors did not switched off and completed a surprising second-half comeback with three goals by Candreva (51'), Fazio (68'), and Dia (76').
