The big clash Serie A Derby between Lazio and Roma ended with a goalless draw, after a hard-fought game with a poor goal-chance record despite the Biancocelesti creating enough to win all three points. Pedro was in Sarri's starting eleven and worked hard in the mission of pushing for a good result for the Eagles. He was replaced by Isaksen in the 64th minute.
The defensive character of the game increased the tension on the pitch, as usual when it comes to a historic rivalry emerging twice a year. With the ball running it was Lazio who showed their aim to make the first blood, with two clear approaches through the skills of Luis Alberto, which could really score the opener for the Laziali side, smashing a shot on the woodwork.
Roma tried to come back into the game at the beginning of the second half, but Lazio once again stopped their approaches to the box, canceling Dybala to create chances. The defensive work by Laziali's back line was outstanding so the score kept stuck to the stalemate.
