Pedro on target as Lazio climb up on top (2-1)

It was not an easy task, but Lazio took a giant step towards qualifying for the next Europa League round (2-1). The Thursday evening battle at the Olympic Stadium saw Biancocelesti overcome the opener by Midtjylland as visitors were on the brink to put Lazio in trouble again, but goals by Milinkovic-Savic and Pedro push Italians to Group F leadership. Gustav Isaksen scored for the visitors.

Despite coming onto the pitch at minute 55, the Spaniard changed the game and scored soon the winner (58') to light the way for the comeback needed. Now Maurizio Sarri's squad will need a point only to ensure a place in the knock-out phase of the European competition.
