Lazio secured a point in last-gasp draw after an eventful game at the Stadio Olimpico. Empoli got a two-goal advantage soon after kick-off, so the local side had to make a hard effort to equalise. In injury time Milinkovic-Savic scored the final 3-3 in 2022 Serie A opener for the Biancocelesti.
Goals from Ciro Immobile (14’) and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic (66’) were enough to neutralize a two-goal deficit after early strikes by Bajrami -from the kick-spot- and Zurkowski.
Federico Di Francesco looked to have clinched all three points for the visitors with a late penalty missed. But Pedro Rodriguez’s side never gave up and fought hard for an equaliser, getting reward when Milinkovic-Savic doubled his tally with a header late on securing a point for the home side.
Pedro Rodríguez was on the starting line-up and worked hard on the attacking line to close the gap. On minute 59 he was replaced by Zaccagni.
