Lazio complete comeback to draw at the Olimpico (2-2)

Lega Serie A vibes were back to the Olimpico on Sunday evening and did so with a hard-fought clash between Lazio and Cagliari (2-2). Pedro's squad -with the Spaniard in Sarri's starting eleven-, showed strong character to equalise the game in the final stretch despite they were the score openers too. Danilo Cataldi's goal (82’) bagged a point and kept the Laziali unbeaten at Stadio Olimpico.

After an intense first half, it was Ciro Immobile who broke the deadlock (45 '), although Cagliari managed to equalise soon through a goal from Joao Pedro. After the break visitors took the lead with a goal from Keita Balde in the 62nd minute. However, the local team could level the contest in the 83rd minute with a goal from Danilo Cataldi and fixed the final 2-2 on the scoreboard.

On the next fixture Maurizio Sarri's team will face Torino at home, a match to be played next Thursday 23 at 18:30 CEST.
