Pedro returns in comeback to ensure European spot (2-2)

Europa League spot is already ensured for next season as SS Lazio grabbed a crucial draw away to Juventus. Pedro Rodriguez’s side converted the point needed after a hard-fought comeback against the Bianconeri (2-2). A last-gasp goal by Milinkovic-Savic (96’) was the ice on the cake for a superb attacking performance on the second half.

It was a special night for both two local players: Chiellini and Dybala got a lap of honor in farewell. The Allianz Stadium crowd made sure to live up to the momentum, but Maurizio Sarri’s plans did not follow this way as visitors had a clear target: to get their place in the next Europa League season.

Goals from Vlahovic (10') and Morata (36') in the first half were not enough to keep the three points sure on own soil. After the break, Lazio worked hard to close the gap, and the first step in comeback came when Alex Sandro scored an own goal from a set-piece cross. The first goal for visitors was followed by Pedro’s come-in, as the Spaniard was back to action after some fixtures under recovery process. Despite the efforts by Lazio, the visitors had to wait until injury time to get their reward when Milinkovic-Savic finally scored the equaliser.
