Lazio sign Serie A draw before heading to Madrid (1-1)

Lazio grabbed one point away after Serie A Saturday draw against Hellas Verona (1-1), despite taking the lead in the first half against an opponent that played one man down on the final stage of the game.

Lazarri's goal against his former side in the 23rd minute was not enough to win all three points because of Henry's equaliser in minute 70.

Pedro Rodríguez came onto the pitch in minute 71 and pushed hard up front for a winner, but the locals managed well to hold Lazio, as their late goal was denied after VAR revisión on the final stage of the game.
