Unrewarded European premiere for Lazio. Pedro Rodríguez's team was defeated at Ali Sami Yen Stadium -Istanbul- in their Europa League opener against Galatasaray. An own goal eclipsed the hard work by Sarri's squad as they could equalise on the second half.
Pedro was out of the starting lineup for the first time in his four appearances with the Laziali. The Spaniard replaced Felipe Anderson on minute 65’ and tried hard to score. He could hit the target with two good chances but keeper Muslera kept safe the advantage for the local side.
