Pedro scores again but not enough to win Feyenoord (3-1)

Empty hands in the Netherlands. SS Lazio suffered a defeat on their visit on the 3rd Champions League Matchday against Feyenoord, as locals got the most from the Stadium atmosphere to ensure all three points despite Pedro's goal. The Spaniard scored again in the Champions League after his decider in Glasgow -this time from the penalty spot- so he has a two-goal record in three CL games this season. However, it was not enough to reverse a bad result that keeps Lazio spotted in third place, one point behind second-placed Atlético. Next match will see the Italians against Feyenoord at the Olympic Stadium on November 7.

Lazio were defeated at De Kuip because of two goals from the Mexican Giménez and a third from Zerrouki by Arne Slot's team, all conceded in the first half. There could even have been four but an offside VAR revision avoided Italians from more weight over their shoulders. Despite the Italian team's efforts to come from behind, visitors had to wait for long until the penalty on Castellanos (83’) converted by Pedro Rodríguez to see a reward for Lazio. However, it was the last change on the scoreboard as Lazio recorded their first defeat in the competition this season.
