SS Lazio completed their Serie A season in style: with one more victory to ensure their second spot and getting qualified for the Champions League next season. The perfect end to a season for Pedro Rodríguez's team in an outstanding runner-up spot, beating big-guns in the competition such as Inter, AC Milan or Juve.
The Tenerife-born attacker played the last game of the season on the strting eleven and displaying a high-level performance for 63 minutes until he was replaced by Zaccagni. Pedro has grabbed 4 goals in 36 games played in the competition this season as he has been a key player for achieving the Champions League qualification objective.
Alessio Romagnoli and Luis Alberto emerged as the scorers for Lazio when they converted in a 2-0 win at Empoli on Saturday. Romagnoli scored three minutes into the second half from a corner, igniting frenzied celebrations among the visiting players and supporters.
