Pedro Rodríguez announced his contract extension signed with SS Lazio: "I thank President Lotito and coach Sarri for their trust," said Pedro from the Italian town of Auronzo di Cadore where the Biancocelesti team is carrying out the preseason work.
“In these two years, we have grown a lot, especially our mentality. We are improving day by day and we have to continue this way”, says Pedro after two successful seasons at the Laziali club.
It’s been two years full of experiences and good moments that make Pedro a key player for Maurizio Sarri, with outstanding achievements as the second spot in Serie A gained past season, strengthening his relationship with the club: "It is a reward for the work we did last year. We’ll try to do our best. I will try to help the team with my experience”, highlights the Tenerife-born attacker. "I would like to finish my career at Lazio, it is a club with values that I like", Pedro says.
Finally and about the upcoming edition of the Champions League -where they could face FC Barcelona- Pedro pointed out that “I would like to face Barça, even if they are a difficult rival. For me it would be a special moment to play against them ”, he concludes.
