The Pedro Rodríguez Foundation has delivered a new toy donation to the Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria Hospital thanks to the collaboration of the Juguetes con Corazón (Toys with Heart) Association of Tenerife and the campaign promoted by Livorno Azzurra in Italy.
On January 5th, as a prelude to the Three Kings' nighttime visit to the Nuestra Señora de La Candelaria Hospital, the Pedro Rodríguez Ledesma Foundation also delivered a new batch of toys to the Pediatric Ward of the La Candelaria Hospital.
New this year, several video game consoles were donated to complete the "gaming zone" in the Ward, in addition to the traditional package of educational toys for different age groups. The Juguetes con Corazón Association contributed the toys collected at its latest event, the Solidarity Futsal Tournament held on December 28th in Candelaria.
Meanwhile, Livorno Azzurra, from Italy, has promoted a fundraising campaign through the “Pedro 4Ever” initiative, the proceeds of which have been used to purchase some of this equipment, thus uniting Italy and Tenerife for a charitable cause.
The synergy between the Foundation and Juguetes con Corazón (Toys with Heart), along with Livorno Azzurra's contribution in support of Pedro's professional career and the work of his Foundation, gives this donation a special significance: uniting Italy and the Canary Islands through Pedro's journey.
Furthermore, in the coming days, decorative vinyl decals will be installed in the Maternity Ward as part of the hospital's program to humanize hospital areas, focused on improving the experience for patients and their families.
