Chelsea’s long unbeaten league run against Arsenal came to an end at the Emirates on Saturday evening, three first-half goals doing the damage. Pedro came onto the pitch 20 minutes from time replacing Willian.
A defensive lapse early on allowed Alexis Sanchez a free run at goal and he made no mistake. Before we could even think about getting back in the game it was two, Theo Walcott finishing off a slick move.
A couple of half-chances came and went for Chelsea before Mesut Ozil volleyed in a third before the break. Soon after it, the Blues went to three at the back, but there were no more goals and so we left a league game against our north London rivals empty-handed for the first time since October 2011.
