Pedro is confident that they can turn the eliminatory against Arsenal around in Camp Nou. He regrets about the first round match’s result, but he’s positive about they will be at the quarter finals. “If we are motivated and concentrated we can repeat what we have done other times and pass the round”, said the striker.
“I know that first match was great for the neutral football fans to enjoy it, but it annoy us having lost it. You don’t go thinking the match has been good, intense and with several opportunities. You go just thinking ‘we lost’ and you feel eager to take the next opportunity, to get a better result and pass to the next round. We missed some opportunities to score more goals at the first half there, which could have made a very different match”, regrets Pedro at an interview given to UEFA.
The player from the Canary Islands warns us about they won’t give Arsenal a moment’s peace. “It was a strange result, because we deserved to win. We also need some luck, but we already suffered a comeback against Arsenal at their stadium and at the end we turned around the result at home and we passed the round. At Camp Nou we must be ready to prevent them from beating us with their quick counterattacks, we have to put the pressure forwards and don’t let them any moment’s peace.
