Pedro began the press conference sharing his condolences after the Brussels attacks. The Chelsea FC winger also stated he feels full confidence from Vicente del Bosque but he will give it all to get a place on the final call-up list for the Eurocup to be played in France next summer.
Terrorist attacks: “We want to show our respects to the victims’ families and the whole of Belgium. It’s hard to feel safe, but we have to trust the security services of each country. At the EURO we’ll be well protected and only have to think about training.”
EURO call up: “The Head Coach has the final call, so we have to carry on giving our all”.
European Cup: “Let’s hope there are no situations like this one. A European Cup is nice for the players and the fans, and I hope it will be a lovely experience.”
Diego Costa: “He was enthusiastic about coming, but the coach decides. I’m sure he’s compatible with Aduriz.”
Busquets: ”Let’s hope he can come, we’ve got enough players and there are great footballers who could substitute him.”
Spanish clubs: “They’re competing very well on a European level and that helps us reach the tournament in better shape.”
Willingness: “We’re very excited, but it will be tough because there are many teams to face. We know that fans will support us and we want to complete a great tournament.”
