Roma fell to their first defeat of the season against a bottom half side on Sunday, as they were beaten 2-0 by Parma. Valentin Mihaila and Hernani scored the goals in either half for the hosts, who grabbed a vital three points at the Stadio Ennio Tardini in their battle against relegation.
But the result will be a significant blow for the Giallorossi, as they missed an opportunity to apply pressure in the race for a top-four finish. Pedro was on the starting eleven and played 60 minutes of the game.
If there were any positives to take, then perhaps one was a debut for January signing Bryan Reynolds - as the American played 30 minutes in the second half as the side chased a route back into the match.
Paulo Fonseca's side are back in action on Thursday - they face Shakhtar Donetsk in the second leg of their Europa League last-16 tie.
