Pedro scores first goal for Lazio in big derby win (3-2)

Awesome football evening at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome as the Derbi Della Capitalle was played there with the best things of the beautiful game: goals, emotion and the warm of the fans enjoying the spectacle form the stands.

Both teams displayed a high-level performance on the pitch also, with Lazio being the fair winner of the contest. The Biancocelesti broke the deadlock soon with two goals by Milinkovic-Savic and Pedro, who made his first goal in Biancocelesti jersey. Ibañez scored for Roma just before the break, but in the second half Felipe Anderson made it 3-1 for the local side. Veretout scored from the kick-spot the second AS Roma goal.

Pedro was back to Maurizio Sarri's starting line-up and played the full 90 minutes, scoring his first goal for Lazio 18 minutes from kick-off. Thanks to a perfect cross by Immobile, the Spaniard connected a clinical shot to beat Ruiz Patricio grabbing the 2-0. But his contribution to the win was much more than a goal: he worked hard on both attacking and defensive roles completing an awesome performance against his former team and pulled up to 6 goals his Serie A record.
