The Chelsea FC player, Pedro Rodríguez has spoken to SeFutbol about the targets for title holders heading to France 2016 EURO: "We’re looking forward to play a good EURO. Besides, it’s a tournament that brings back very good memories. If only we could repeat the success and carry out a great tournament. First we have to calmly work on it and it depends a lot on the group, passing that an the rest of the tournament."
Debutants: "They’re adapting well. The want to help and have open arms from the players and the staff. There’s a great vibe and when the players come to the Spanish National Team they notice and feel comfortable. That’s the most important thing when you arrive to a new place, as well as the excitement of doing well in your first participation."
Players support at Chelsea FC: "They’ve been a great support to me, the adaptation has been quick given I already knew them from here and they’ve treated me well, showing me how the club works. The truth is that the experience has been great."
Trust: "When someone gets to play, they gain rhythm, trust, and you’re happier, you try out more things... Leaving Barça was tough for me, but I’m happy with the change."
Spanish National Team: "Obviously we know that we weren’t our best at the World Cup, we didn’t give a good version of ourselves, but I think the qualifier matches, especially the last two matches against Slovakia and Macedonia, the Spanish National Team has shown a new image and that’s the road to follow. It’s what we want to do, gain rhythm, get in shape and try to conclude our qualifier and then do a great tournament there."
